Dog Bed Step by step
-
STEP: 1
Remove the drawers and all hardware
-
STEP: 2
Cut out the front of our dresser frame
-
STEP: 3
Start sanding with 80 grit. Be sure to sand all sides of your dresser
-
STEP: 4
Use an 80 grit sponge to soften the edges … and sanding sheets for hard-to-reach spots
-
STEP: 5
Tack off before moving onto the 120 grit
-
STEP: 6
Sand with 120 grit to remove the scratches that the 80 grit sandpaper left
-
STEP: 7
Now it’s time to prime. Use a primer to cover the entire surface.
-
STEP: 8
The primer will raise the grain, so you’ll need to lightly scuff with the 220 grit when it dries
-
STEP: 9
Be sure to tack off before moving on to the paint
-
STEP: 10
Choose a fun color to make it look great. It may take a few coats to cover.
-
STEP: 11
Attach a curtain rod. Hang the curtain and add your pillow and you’re done!
