Sanding Belts and Discs

Backer Pads

• Always wear eye, face, body, respiratory and hearing protection when operating or changing accessories.
• Do not exceed maximum RPM.
• Read safety information before using this product.
• Read and understand all warnings and manuals supplied with the power tool.

Mounted Grinding Wheels

• Always wear eye protection.
• Protect breathing. Do not breathe dust created by sanding or grinding.
• Improperly used grinding wheels can cause serious bodily injury to the operator and bystanders.
• Do not use mounted wheels if excessive vibration occurs.
• Do not exceed maximum RPM.
• Follow all warnings and instructions in your power tool operator’s manual.

Cut-Off Blades and Grinding Wheels

• Read and comply with Standard B7.1. “Safety requirements for the use, care and protection of abrasive wheels” is available from the American National Standards Institute. Special attention is directed to Section 8 of this Standard.
• Always wear eye protection that complies with current ANSI Standard Z87.1.
• DO NOT breathe dust created by sanding or grinding. Dust created from some ground materials may be hazardous to your health.
• Read and understand the machine owner’s manual before using abrasive blades.
• Make sure machine guard is in proper operating condition and is always in place during use.
• DO NOT exceed maximum RPM.
• Inspect & test blade before each use. Discard any blade that has been dropped, cracked, or broken.
• Never use excessive force as this could cause the blade to break.
• Cut-off blades should never be used for side grinding.
• Never store wheels in places exposed to freezing temperatures, solvents, or water.

Pole Sanders

• Always wear eye protection.

• When using with extension poles, stay clear of electrical hazards and power lines.

Sanding Sponges and Pads

• Always wear eye protection.
• Protect breathing. Do not breathe dust created by sanding or grinding.

Synthetic Pads

• Always wear eye protection.
• Protect breathing. Do not breathe dust created by sanding or grinding.
• When using with water-based or chemical strippers, follow manufacturer’s safety instructions for applications and disposal.
• Do not use on hot surfaces.
