Quarter sheets work great and you can also cut a 1/4 of a 9 x 11 Sheet and use that.

Turn sandpaper over and place lid anywhere on the back flat.
-
STEP: 4
Pressing down on the lid to make sure it doesn't move, trace around it with a pencil.
-
STEP: 5
Grab some scissors and cut out the circle.
-
STEP: 6
Turn the circle, sandpaper side up and lay your stencil down making sure to cover the whole surface.
-
STEP: 7
Spray paint the stencil pattern onto the sandpaper and let dry for 5-10 minutes.
-
STEP: 8
Grab a standard hole punch and make sure to punch the hole inward just enough to bipass the lid edge but not too far so when you tip the jar, matches can come out easily.
